Models required

EOS magazine is looking to build a portfolio of locally-based models for occasional editorial work. We are looking for male and female models aged 18 or over (proof of age required). No previous experience is necessary, just patience and the ability to follow instructions when in front of the camera. No glamour photography.

You will be required to attend the EOS magazine offices in Tackley, 10 miles north of Oxford for an initial photoshoot. Travel fees (up to 20 miles max.) will be reimbursed and you will be able to take away up to three prints of images taken on the day.

Subsequent modelling fees will depend on the type and duration of the work. In addition to occasional editorial-type shots there may be opportunities to pose during photographic training courses.

Working for EOS magazine

EOS magazine is published by Robert Scott Publishing Limited, a small successful niche publishing company located just north of Oxford. The company currently has eleven employees. The team is close-knit and staff turnover is low.

The company is solely owned by Robert Scott, a former editor of Practical Photography. Robert has used Canon cameras throughout his career and his passion for the EOS system makes EOS magazine what it is today. The magazine was first published under its current title in 1993 as a partwork, before becoming a quarterly publication in 1996. Previous incarnations of the magazine include Club Canon and Canon User.

EOS magazine is owned outright by Robert Scott Publishing. We have strong links with Canon worldwide, but remain independent.

If you would like to join our company, you will need to be a team player and be prepared to take on a variety of work and projects. As a small company our staff are multi-skilled and ready to adapt quickly to new challenges and tasks. We invest in our staff and can provide training opportunities for the right people.
