To celebrate the 100th issue of EOS magazine, we’re inviting you to enter our competition. Show us what you know about Canon EOS photography and you could win a Canon EOS M50 camera, plus the chance to be published in EOS magazine.

You'll also be able to see what makes EOS magazine unique – giving you an insight into what we're looking for.
You are invited to submit a photographic technique article between 500 and 1500 words long, suitable for inclusion in EOS magazine. The article can be about a camera feature, lens, Speedlite flash or Canon software, but must only cover the Canon EOS system. Images used to illustrate the article must be shot with a Canon EOS camera.
You could write about:
– a camera feature or function
– a Canon lens or lens feature
– Speedlite flash
– Canon accessories
– Canon software

How to enter
Submit your article as either a Word document or PDF to:
The overall winner will receive Canon’s brand new 4K mirrorless camera, the EOS M50, plus EF-M 15-45mm f3.5-5.6 IS STM lens.
The winning article will also be published in the October-December 2018 issue of EOS magazine.
There are two runner-up prizes.
Second place will win a Canon hdbook, Manfrotto Digital Director, plus £100 voucher to spend in EOS magazine shop.
Third place will win a Canon hdbook and £50 to spend in EOS magazine shop.
There will also be opportunities for the winners to write for future issues of the magazine.
Terms and conditions
1| Submitted articles must be:
i| entirely your own work;
ii| written in English;
iii| received no later than 5pm (BST) on Tuesday 31 July 2018.
2| Only one submission per person.
3| Submitted articles cannot:
i| have been published in any other medium, including but not limited to; blog, website, magazine, newspaper, book;
ii| be published anywhere else prior to 31 December 2018;
iii| be longer than 1500 words (including title and captions).
4| Images supplied to illustrate article must be shot using a Canon EOS camera.
5| Lens articles must be about a Canon EF, EF-S or EF-M lens.
6| Software articles must be about Canon-made software e.g. Digital Photo Professional, EOS Utility.
